About Me

I have been providing counseling and psychotherapy to children, teens and adults for over 25 years. I have extensive experience working with adolescents and young adults.  Additionally, I have a Masters in Guidance Counseling and have worked with many people struggling with academic and career issues.  I have trained extensively in the treatment of depression and anxiety and understand how depression and anxiety show up in everyday life, making so many things seem and feel difficult.

I received my Masters of Social Work at Hunter College School of Social Work in New York City. I am licensed by New York State and California to practice psychotherapy as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).  I have received advanced training from multiple Psychotherapy Training Institutes in New York City and I am trained in numerous evidenced based practices. Currently, I am attending the Westchester Center for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy as a candidate in the analytic program.

I was born in the Hudson Valley in New York. I lived and worked in Westchester and New York City for over ten years and I lived in San Diego and Los Angeles, California for over 10 years. My experiences have provided me the fortunate opportunity of working with and helping people from all over the world.
